Curiosity. To what moves people, why they do what they do. And: whether what they do is what they really want to do….? is a common thread in my life and continues to fascinate me endlessly.
I have more than 15 years of experience in the field of ‘Human Capital’. In recruitment, management & talent development, executive search, organizational advice, leadership development and coaching. Both for the public sector (central government), corporate environment (Ahold) and SMEs (advisor for family businesses and DGAs). As a result, I have developed a broad perspective and gained a good insight into what is (less) effective in organizations and how things can be done differently. I have also been able to guide leaders and employees through important changes in their careers. I noticed more and more that I wanted to help people to discover their strengths, talents and motivations. But also: their ‘dark sides’ or pitfalls. Help them do what they deeply want and can do. I want to help people to live their fullest potential.
In order to further deepen into this and professionalize my coaching skills, I started the Intuitive Coaching education in September 2019. A valuable addition to my experience and training of the past 20 years.
I am now working as an accredited coach (EMCC) and since November 2020 I have my own company VIVID Coaching, Training & Advice.
VIVID stands for clear & lively. Clearity about what you want. Who you are. What you stand for. That is what drives me in coaching. In training, workshops and in my consultancy practice.
Born into a warm, close family (my parents were both teachers) in Twente, with 4 children, looking after- and interest in each other, was born to me. Other important values I was raised with are: respect, honesty, curiosity and positivity. These values are also immediately reflected in my work.
As a mother of four beautiful daughters myself, I notice that knowing what you stand for, living from your core values, is very important. It’s a compass. And helps you to important, but also everyday choices.
In recent years I have experienced that taking good care of yourself is extremely important. For both body and mind. And getting clear what you stand for, what you want, what makes you really happy. Besides running my own business, I therefore like to spend a lot of time with my husband and children. Two cats and soon… a dog. Family & friends play an important role in my life. I try to enjoy small things big. My battery continues to charge from sports (skating and cycling), hiking, camping in the summer and skiing in the winter.
